Frequently Asked Questions

Can tarot help with decision making?

Tarot can help surface what you already know about a decision, examine assumptions, and interrupt looping thinking. It cannot predict which option leads to a better outcome or tell you what to choose.

What tarot spread is best for decisions?

A three card spread using situation, obstacle, and what I am not seeing works well. A two card spread with one card per option is also useful for examining what each path asks of you.

What does it mean when a tarot card contradicts the decision I was leaning toward?

It does not mean the card is advising against it. Notice your reaction to the card, the urge to pull again or dismiss the reading is often more informative than the card itself.

Should I keep pulling cards until I get the answer I want?

No. Pulling repeatedly on the same question is reassurance-seeking, not reading. Pull once, sit with it, and come back to the decision with fresh perspective rather than more cards.
